INGREDIENTS
American Biscuits
2 cups plain flour - sifted
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cup (113g) cold butter, cubed
2/3 cup milk Melted butter
Fiery Bacon Beans
1 tbsp Oil
3 rasher of bacon
1/2 an onion
3 cloves of garlic
1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
1 can of kidny beans
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1/2 a cup passata
1 tbsp molasses
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Method:
Biscuits
- Prep the Ozpig and camp oven for high heat, close to 230°C
- Place dry ingredients in a food processor and whiz to combine.
- Add butter and pulse til the butter looks like peas.
- Dump into a mixing bowl and add the milk and honey and stir until it comes together.
- Place on a lightly floured surface and knead several times to work the gluten
- Then pat the dough with your fingers to about ¾ inch high.
- Cut biscuits into a squares with a knife or use a circle cutter.
- Brush the tops with melted butter then bake for around 10 minutes.
Fiery Bacon Beans
- Prep the Ozpig and a pot for medium heat.
- Add oil, bacon, onion and garlic to the pot and let sauté for a few minutes.
- Add all other ingredients, mix and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and let it cook out on a lower heat for an hour or so.
- Serve with fried eggs and biscuits.
