Ozpig Char Siu Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 pieces whole star anise
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Chinese five-spice powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon juice

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients into a bowl, add salt and lemon juice to taste.
  2. Rub marinade into the meat. Cover and let it marinate for about half an hour.
  3. After meat is marinated, grill meat in your Ozpig until meat is cooked through and the sugar in the marinade has caramelised.
