Well it is a funny story as I had been struggling to fix the problem after cyclone Alfred when my spark arrestor was whipped away on a current of brisk wind. Firstly I spent hours searching for an ash guard as that is what I thought it was called lol. I then tried making a home made version of punching holes in an upended coconut cream tin. It was only when I found that ozpig has spare parts separately to purchase outlets for ozpig purchase. It was here I found what I was looking for my “ash guard” a spark arrestor. Doesn’t really roll of the tongue lol. I’m a very happy camper now☺️

We love our big pig. It’s so beautiful to sit around having the large opening and we are loving the smoker having started making beef jerky. We had a baby pig but this one is hands down the best

I went camping last weekend and I cooked a boneless leg of lamb on the traveler with a combination of wood and heat beads it was excellent.

I was looking for something wood-fired and portable that I could take anywhere to boil water and cook a meal on and that could also be my home BBQ. The Pig is simpler and safer than a camp fire and a great back-up at home if everything goes down. I’ve only done BBQs so far and I’m enjoying the added wood-smoke taste. Looking forward to cooking more sophisticated meals down the track.

Bought this with my series 2 pig and very glad I did as I love to grill my food. Must have for that flamed grilled flavour that you can't achieve with a flat cooking plate. Thanks

Compact and easy to set up. Pumps out the heat with limited fuel and just love cooking steak on the series 2! I also have the cast iron grill and drip tray and in my opinion should be one of the first accessories on your list!

Cast Iron, great grill marks on my steaks and drip tray kept my pig clean!

We have the ozpig series 2 under a patio. Only just bought the house and the pig so we haven't got it in a specific final spot just yet. But having these extra offset and pieces helps keep smell and smoke (not that there is much using nice ironbark) definitely recommend this kit for use under a patio. Plus fast and easy postage made buying them easy as. 5 Stars
